Description
The neon text styles are absolutely for free and they create neon effects on the text that you can use for example for icons. I've done the same styles for the most common colours and also with different fonts, so you can see how the styles work not only on one font. I decided to also give you the fonts that I found (they're not mine, but were found on dafont.com and I use some of them often). I think they're really useful and hopefully they will be for you too. The fonts shown on the previews are included in the .zip file with the styles. Since it doesn't allow me to put it into the typography category, it's in .PSD files. Enjoy the text styles! I hope they will be useful.*Just a simple advice. If you want your text to look very neon, it's best if the text was white and then the styles were applied, however if you want to, you can experiment with colours to make new effects.

> The text styles and fonts are free to download without any password, although fonts were not made by me.
I would be also very thankful for any comments, advice and favourites that help me to keep on working on new deviants and always motivate me to get new ideas.
Enjoy!

This seems very nice, but is the effect an outer glow related one? If so, it'd be hard to use them for everything. On a full white bg, it wouldn't really show up. Wouldn't users also have to use similarly colored backgrounds like the ones in your preview?

Well, if the glow is exactly the same colour as the background it won't really show up, because it's the same. That's why it's best to use the neon text styles if you want some contrast of colour for your work. The best results come out when the background is black or a bit darker than the colour of the glow. Users don't have to use similar backgrounds as me, I just made the backgrounds a bit darker than the glow to show that it still shows up. It works well with white text when the glow is applied, but if it's on a very light background, only the text colour will have to be changed for example to a black colour, so that the text is visible. Yes, the glow is outside of the text. I don't know what type of work you'd like to use the styles on, but I hope they're useful. If you have any more questions then let me know. : )
