As of late I’ve had many come and ask if I IM, and I do not mean to be rude to turn them away saying I do not IM, this comic above explains good reasons why I don’t IM.I find it very distracting, especially when I’m trying to draw a picture, or get any work done at all.
That and I find it hard to communicate with others, I don’t like to say I don’t get along with everyone, but I have a hard time trying to deliver my message to an understanding.
If you ever met me in person, you’d find out I’m very quiet, and tend to stand on the outside of a crowd. I guess that follows me onto the internet as well.
I enjoy quiet and being alone sometimes. All I ask to please respect that.
I do offer ways of communication,
for one, ( that I’m trying to get better and responding notes/messages etc.)I rarely host a live stream once in a while,
Although fast moving chat makes me queasy and frustrated that I’m not a fast reader.
I don’t join a chat room because even there I feel claustrophobic by people, similar to in real life day to day.

Just be catious: I do have my bad days, and on those days I would advise that you ask me if I am having one in the case of me being rude/mean to you. It's just a personality trait I have, it's nothing serious.

When I IM no one ever has anything to say. They are all dead DX. I say hello how are you etc, and ones the greetings are done that is it.

my chatrooms are usually not that filled up. record number in one was 6, I believe. usually, I'm the only one in them

hehe some of this does explain why you havnt really responded to my messages. and hehe i do always get so distracted by chat (its what i like to call it.) i mean im not really as popular as a artist. or let alone as a person here hehe X3 but i do have a couple friends and watchers. and i can relate to the distractions. and it wasnt just in chat either. it was mostly of messages that piled in my messages thing. and hehe im always lazy when it comes to that... eh sort of... ok actually never mind. X3 but anyway still even if its annoying or distracting, it does show that you are pretty popular here. but hehe anyway personally myself im a silent person myself. surprising huh? X3 but i dont really show it here... well not all the time at least hehe. well anywho keep doing a splended job with your art! *wagging tails* and have a good day!... or night. whatever time your reading this hehe X3

Its especially annoying when Im trying to play videogames but are foolish enough to listen the msn open. The sound of the IM tunes became the most irritating thing ever, that is until i turned off the siund XD.

Limiting who you know is just as important. Remember that you can control via invites and blocks on who gets to know you and communicate with you.

I have experiance with all of these events.
The first one always got on my nerves, becuase even when I was typing a reply, he'd be asking me why I wasn't replying...ugh...
I've been on both ends of the 'wrong window' event...often with hilarious results. Next time it happens, and it's nothing too serious, see how long you can play along for before they notice.
Yes, RPing can swallow your soul, or at least all your time if you're not careful!
Being a writer I'm lucky enough to not get pestered for requests that often, but it's annoying when I do as it clearly states that I ain't taking any.
And it's weird when suddenly everyone in your IM list all decides to have a chat at once. Kinda creepy really, I feel like they're all in on it and they're ganging up on me for something. But then, hey, I'm paranoid.

As for me, I don't remember the last time I was on MSN or YIM, either... I never talk to anyone on those two formats anymore. I DO Skype, but I generally only Skype with my fiance and for business purposes, like when I'm talking with a client (or potential client) about a freelance job.

I think 6... and it's usually one after the other... after I respond to the last guy the first guy has posted then after him the 2nd and so on... I'm just not use to being kept waiting...
