What does a furry artist do when he sees a character he likes, but said characters is a human? Well... "anthropomorphises" her, of course!

Meet Cheren, who is an amalgamation of two concepts - a Lizard Woman of Mongo from the New Adventures of Flash Gordon cartoon, and the sexy female archer/lieutenant of Khalar Zym from the 2011 Conan the Barbarian movie!
I quite liked the interesting/sexy outfit of Cheren and the odd helmet half-covering her face, so I decided to create a Lizard Woman character using the same traits and outfit.

Cheren is a markswoman, an elite archer in the service of Ming the Merciless. Unlike other Lizard Women, who are more adept using spears, whips or rayguns, she has mastered the bow at an early age and became a scout. During one mission to Arboria, her platoon was ambushed by Prince Barin's archers - only Cheren made it out alive from the confrontation, impressing the Emperor with her survival and archery skills that saw her back to the capitol. Though a hit by a freezing arrow cost her one eye and scarred the right side of her face, Cheren's aim has probably gotten even better after this. A woman of few words, since this encounter she only goes on solo missions, often to silently assassinate one of those unfortunate souls who have fallen out of Ming's favour. The truth is, she simply does not want to see another comerade and friend die by her side, and rather works alone then risk this, even if it means being an admired, but shunned outcast of the Lizard Women.
