She's a whippet, and she's pink. What's not to like?
I just watched All Dogs Go To Heaven for the first time ever (don't laugh and point at me, it's not nice), and I was wondering what Annabelle would look like if drawn in my style. No refs used for the most part (not that I could find any good ones ANYWAY). And I had to pay tribute to her too. I mean, how many sighthounds, let alone whippets, do you ever see in the world of animation?

But... It's just SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO freakin GORGEOUS I just CAN't HELP myself from staring and drooling!!!!!!!!!! Annabelle in your style is just SOMETHINg I'll never forget!!! It's awesome, amazing, stunning, jaw-dropping wonderful, beautiful, delightful and I dunno what else.... I'm speechless!!! Since now it's one of my favoritest drawings of all times!

Heh, yeah, well, there's definitely a place for the sweet fluffy stuff in children's tv, but I do think there's a place for more realistic stuff as well. It can all be good in my opinion

Gorgeous coloring, Swifty! It looks so professional and clean. I love how you can take such a simple and delicate subject and liven it up with your coloring skills and drawing talents. My favorite part has got to be the eyes. Theyre so pretty!! xD

This is really really awsome. I adore your style. so adorable and great. teh anatomy is perfection, too. and the coloring is so warm. But....isn't Annabelle a Saluki? Because it looks like she doesn't have that deep of a chest...but whatev. Love this alot.

LOL, I know she doesn't look like one, but it's briefly mentioned she's a whippet in the dialogue between her and Charlie when he first goes to heaven, and in the credits for the first movie she apparently didn't have a name yet: she's listed as 'Whippet Angel'.

Actually I think I would have been scared by the hell scenes when I was a kid. I got scared by Rock-A-Doodle xD But y'know, that's what I like about Mr. Bluth's, that they're more real and gritty while still being heartwarming. Although I thought the way he paced All Dogs was a bit jerky and some of the characters didn't get developed enough, I still liked it a lot
