Hee. I couldn't resist titling it that. Anyway, here's a Chinook breed template picture, drawn for someone on FP. The cool thing about drawing these types of breeds is that they don't really have much of a breed standard to conform to, so they're lots of fun to vary

Unique coloration of the chinook! I've always pictured them to be beige. I think that's the only color I've seen them in so far. But you're certainly right about certain breeds not having a clearly defined standard! It makes it hard to pinpoint the best characteristics!

Yeah, the black and tan was a specific request by the commissioner. And indeed they do come in all kinds of colours, it's all on account of the no breed standard thing

You need to educate yourself a bit more in the Chinook breed. THERE IS A BREED STANDARD. And they dont come in "all sorts of colors". Black and Tan is VERY VERY rare in the Chinook breed (only a hand full known to the breed). Other color variations other than tan/golden colors is not desired in the breed.

Wow! Swift, you are so good at bone structure! I think it's neat that Dog's have differant Bone structures......it makes them very fun to draw....and you draw them very well! *Turns green with Envy* But I'll keep practicing! XD and maybe someday I'll be able to do Correct Dog Anatomy......

Aw :3 Very cute, and certainly looks like a 'nook. With them, they usually try to breed to what the original Chinook looked like [he was a particular guy's dog, and I don't remember the guy's name] - that's the drop ears, sturdy build, and usually fawn coat. Gah, I love how you've depicted him Swift!

The most common chinooks are that black and fawn color, but this is equally as awesome!
