EDIT: made MONSTERDOGS look better. bah.so =StormyHotWolf88 I got to see Matchbox Twenty in concert tonight, and naturally they were all shades of awesome. <3 I'm thankful that I got to go at all, it was such a wonderful show.
hearing Unwell live made me cry, though. they played the bridge and I just lost it. it's such a sad song as it is to listen to, and nowadays I tend to connect it with Solly so it hits me even harder. I just felt obliged tonight to draw something for her, and I did. the song helped a great deal.
all day staring at the ceiling
making friends with shadows on my wall

I really love this, and when I saw it in your gallery, the song just popped into my head. I was so happy that it was actually referencing to that song, it's one of my favorite Matchbox Twenty songs. Totally can relate to it as well.
As for the picture, I absolutely love it. Can't really find much else to say about it.

Wonderful pic and wonderful message. I like how you kept the dog in the frontground kind of all sketchy-like -- It adds to the mood. Is there some story behind this? (I'm guessing the dog is one of your OCs? :-D?)

to be honest that song touched my heart long before I created Soliloquy. it's just so sad and wistful and ugh. <3 but there is an extra impact now that I connect it with her, yes. she's sort of grown around to fit it, too. funny how characters can evolve from what you first intended them to be, eh?
since seeing them in concert I have had this bandcrush on them. <3 it's awesome.

I love seeing characters evolve - it's always such a shock when I uncover an old design for a beloved character that has morphed over the years - or even more surprising, one I've forgotten ever existed! Then I get to redesign and resurrect them~! <3

LOL, I didn't even think about that! I just came back from the concert all inspired and emotional and cranked this out, I just felt compelled. that is so funny that I did that though! xDDD I guess because I did my 'Vday picture' early this year, so I wasn't really thinking about doing another.
that's my Soliloquy, she's an Italian Greyhound, actually, but heck I draw too many whippets anyhow. xD and thank you Dimi, I am glad that the heads came out as menacing as I intended them to.

oooh she's pretty I wish MG was open. I'm having an insane craving to role play since I've been writing my brains out for my story 'Trinity.' and I'm wanting to role play Dagger really badly.
