so yes, I thought I'd upload these early. what's another five days, after all? :3 random Christmas-themed couple pictures for random MGers. just because I can. and the couples are cute okay.~SneauxMcFly 's Peaches the three-legged whippet (though that is not apparent here), and my Golddust the bully whippet. <333 expect to see more of these two because I love them eeee!
(realising now that I should have put a little santahat on one of them. oy. maybe I will.)

Oh Swifters, it's absolutely charming! You have captured little Peaches wonderfully and I love the obvious chemistry between them. Of course the work itself is absolutely beautiful. eeee I am glad you like <33 lineless is a lot of fun to do at least once in a while! I like to challenge myself by refusing to use layers, too. I'm not entirely satisfied with how all of these came out, so I may so some more with this technique.

Oh yes definitly try more 8D! Lineless art seems to have some special quality that lined art doesnt have and its something i really enjoy looking at 8D!

This one's my favorite of the batch! The shading is just done so well here, specially on the doggie on the left. The form is defined really well, specially on that tricky jaw area. The only thing I'd suggest is to maybe put some red backlighting in, since the background is so strong.
Nice job so far with this new lineless style, I'd like to see more!

awr, thanks! <3 yeah you're probably right about the red backlight, I realised I wanted to fix it after I drew it but all these portraits were done on one layer so I can't really do anything about it. xD I like to challenge myself sometimes.

Aww, I do love this pairing too. I think I've already mention my, like, undying love for Golddust, but Peaches tugs at my heartstrings nearly as much as he does. It's so sweet how they're kinda tragic but not at the same time. Anyway, d'aww! XD
I do love love love this coloring style. And the way you did Dusty's brindleing makes me a little jealous. I need to work on that pattern 'cause I have several characters with it. ^.^'

awww I knew you liked Dusty but I did not know this love was undying! <3 he appreciates the sentiment. and Peaches... well yes, I can't help but love her. Mitia plays her so well - it's the right mix of vulnerability and strength, I think. they work very well together. :3
brindling is fun, just do spotty streaky blotchy lines in varying shades of base colour. it seems to work for me. xD I am thinking I should make some kind of brindle tutorial since I keep getting asked about how I do it.

Golddust has to be one of my favorite characters, ever. xD He's seems, from what is portrayed through your art, really pure. I actually had been reading on a bully whippet a few weeks before you posted the character... a wonder on what genes can do to a dog.
Anyways, great work! This picture really makes my heart melt especially from the expressions.
