BAHAHAHA. x) this amuses me. --> [link] click for whippety/Whip It goodness.So. anyway. Swift is happy whenever she sees a whippet around on dA, so she invited everyone over for a WHIPPET PARTY.
w00t! I needed to draw some whippets and sighthounds, so this was a fun picture to do 
So we've got Blaire the purple whippet (=losdoberman ) and Rose the yellow whippet (~Nulde ) - making for a nice colourscheme - ready to catch the frisbee. Mia (=Fairy-Corgi ), with the pseudo-velveteen rabbit, is being baited with cookies by Flying Whippet (~Queen-of-Greyhounds ), who is unaware that Aztecca (~Cerzz ) is ready to intercept the cookiebag. An amused Wings (my RP character on [link] ) looks on. In the foreground Encore (~scbordercollie01 ) and my resurrected old characters Fleetpaw and Wind jive to the CD that Swift (~swiftwhippet , natch'.) is spinning. The current track? Devo's Whip It, of course

GLEE!!! Aww gosh I do just adore those beautiful little puppies with those emotive eyes, they just tug at my heart strings. Think i'm gonna need a whippet-esqe char at some stage to stop myself drooling over your art!! You make everything look so easy, and this is def my fav style of shading from you. You always get the shades and highlights spot on, you have a natural talent at knowong where to put them.
The energy in this is just addictive!!

They are the most awesome dogs ever, really! Mine's a complete and utter sook, and is quite happy to spend all day sleeping xD Unfortunately she's a bit sookier than usual because she tore one of her Achilles tendons while running (and being bowled over by another dog) and had to get surgery on it. Forced bed rest is not agreeing with her, lol!

Weirdly, I don't have a whippet character. I have a few greyhounds and a "pocket hound"/Iggie (appropriately named Pocket...) characters, but no whippets.
I shall have to make one now. But I do not even know where to start on that.

Thankyouuu! Yeah, they're sweet. I realised I hadn't drawn them in uberlong but they're just two of those 'flat' characters, that have style but no substance. One of these days I need to create them a setting where they can live and be merry. xD

Oh my gosh, I love this picture, and the fact that they all have different poses, but you can still tell that they're whippets.
I love the pose on the one with the heart on her neck, and the pink and black/brown nose on the one with the rabbit makes me smile. This whole picture makes me smile.
