BAHAHAHA. x) this amuses me. --> [link] click for whippety/Whip It goodness.So. anyway. Swift is happy whenever she sees a whippet around on dA, so she invited everyone over for a WHIPPET PARTY.
w00t! I needed to draw some whippets and sighthounds, so this was a fun picture to do 
So we've got Blaire the purple whippet (=losdoberman ) and Rose the yellow whippet (~Nulde ) - making for a nice colourscheme - ready to catch the frisbee. Mia (=Fairy-Corgi ), with the pseudo-velveteen rabbit, is being baited with cookies by Flying Whippet (~Queen-of-Greyhounds ), who is unaware that Aztecca (~Cerzz ) is ready to intercept the cookiebag. An amused Wings (my RP character on [link] ) looks on. In the foreground Encore (~scbordercollie01 ) and my resurrected old characters Fleetpaw and Wind jive to the CD that Swift (~swiftwhippet , natch'.) is spinning. The current track? Devo's Whip It, of course

Oh wow, that is adorable! You have such great lineart, and I love the coloring! I feel inspired to draw a whippet now, and after just watching Pirates of the Caribbean and being inspired by that, it could be interesting lol. But they're all just so cute!

OMG this is awesome! I'm planning to do a mass sighthound picture, and I think I might just throw a sighthound party! XD I'll try to remember to draw all of these characters along with like QG, Salu, Nicole, Kei, and hound mixes like BJ 'n' stuff. ^.^ I'm gonna have to sift through the Sighthound Fans members to find a bunch. I think this is going to take me a long time... =.='

I was planning to make an updated version of my Houndpile picture, incidentally o.O though now that our numbers have swelled to such proportions I think it'd take quite a while indeed =_= blah. (still, I'll bet the sighthound party guestlist would still be dwarfed by that of the wolf/husky party guestlist. go figure xDD)
I'd absolutely love to see your version of a sighthound party! Maybe I should make a directory on the club for everyone's sighthound characters, it could be an idea for the next contest!
