I wanted to try a more realistic version of my fursona and it ended up becoming another one of my digital unilayer Photoshop paintings. Sighs.. I think I'm getting addicted to these. But I do like how it came out. And I drew her with her shell-collar on too, which is rare. I wasn't going to at first but I like it better with her wearing it now. I used [link] for looking at the eyes and ears. (yes, it's not a photo. so sue me.)I'm trying to make this into my avatar but the stupid file is too big and I've resaved it twice already. Ergh. Maybe later I'll try again. '''O_x

Wow, her eye holds so much expression- almost like someone who is adorable, but has an innocent 'who me' look on- a bit of a mischief maker (if that makes any sense). I'm amazed that you did this on one layer

I never use the pen tool at all, incidentally xD I just work with a brush and eraser for the most part xD

Very pretty. I find it harder to color smooth-coated critters, this one came out with such a smooth and soft look, I just love it.

Aww, thank you! Smooth coats aren't that hard.. just a good airbrushing usually does it for me. Whippets and greyhounds have really dense, close coats, so I just colour and shade them without much thought to texture really

I love the subtlety in your shading- I'm sure I've said that a lot, but I just cannot get over how phenomenal it looks, it never fails to make me stare at the picture for longer than I was planning on.

SHE is not missing HER other ear.. whippets lay their ears back naturally, so I figured it would be out of sight. But I can see your point.. maybe I'll go and make it show a tiny bit later. Thanks!

LOL, you did call her a he. At first I thought it was just a typo, because it's easy to mistype 'she' into 'he' by leaving off the s at the start, but then I saw that you typed 'his' as well. That's why I was emphatic about it.. I get kinna antsy when people mix up my characters' genders. Particularly since this one is my fursona xDD
