I know I'm a terrible person for drawing this but...it was really fun u.u *shot*Anyway, this is a preview for that massive thing I said I was drawing! It'll be about 75% done by the end of the day today~ Don't hate me too much. I just like tragedy ^^

I didnt really like Light through the series and I was half glad that he died but this scene is very emotional XD

Thank you friend! I really loved Light up until he regained his memories. After that it was just sort of a downward spiral into madness and he lost his edge. I was really surprised at the ending but I was glad he died just because I felt incredibly sad that he had fallen so far. I still cried though...at the end of the day he was still so young. Thanks for your comment!

It was bittersweet. I love Matsuda, so I really appreciated the badass moment they gave him. I was like HOLY CRAP YES and HOLY CRAP NO all at the same time! Ahh, Death Note is a series of confliction...(you aren't awful, I understand why people dislike Light, he's a total jerk. I just like his evil genius-ness.)

I can tell he's dead already in your painting. His eyes are lost, empty, and wandering into the great beyond... or the great nothingness in his case.

Oh, good! I was waiting for someone to tell me if it was too much, because honestly I can go a bit overboard with the gore sometimes. I'm glad the dead-ness came through!

Gore? Meh, no such thing as too much when it comes to Death Note really. It's Vampire Hunter D (movies one and two) that have plenty of action violence and gore to them, if I remember correctly. Ever heard of them?

*Vampire, singular. Only one. The first movie was in about the 70's or 80's, I think. It's not nearly as good as its sequel though! My uncle introduced my sister and me to them.... and plenty other anime. And he's the one that taught us to draw, encourage creativity.... He's responsible for my madness, or so the beginning. >.>.....<.<..... I don't know if you can find them online though.
BTW, Vampire Hunter D movies are BETTER than Twilight.... Winnie the Pooh is better than Twilight. B-grade movies with terrible special effects are better than Twilight. We all know real vampires don't sparkle. -.-
