I wanted to do something painty on Sai and this came into my mind so yeah lol

BUT I LOVE HOW IT TURNED OUT im gonna turn caps off now xD
So yeah, the reason its eight is because 8 is my lucky number, I was born on the 8th and 8 seems to follow me o3o

Snowy, this is like one of your best pieces yet! I can see the improvement clearly. There's a lot of maturity in how the lineart was done, and the coloring and shading was very well carried out. The background was also a cool idea. I like what you did with giving the expression personality.
Have you been able to read the story yet? I can't wait to hear what you thought of it!

Wonderful! I just got a critique email from another reader today, and it looks like my efforts to find interested readers in the target audience in dA are going well.
Personally I don't think the beginning has enough immediate action to draw the reader in. But then again, it's my third completely independent attempt at writing the start of the story. So I want to finish the first draft before I change the beginning again. Maybe it still works, I don't know. I'd love to hear from you when you feel you've read to a good point, which really doesn't have to be the end of Chapter 13, which is very far away!

I might replace that scene with a preface, I mean, the reader SHOULD meet the main characters fairly soon in the novel in order to care about them the most.
