i'll be vague, i have a lot of algebra 2 homework to do.my whole school went to an assembly today for Rachel's Challenge, about Rachel Scott who was the first student killed at Columbine High School when that shooting happened in 1999.
it was very sad and incredibly impacting. like, wow.
so i drew something for it.
inspired by a picture she drew the morning before she was killed. [link]
(btw, it looks best when not full viewed.)
i put some symbolism in it too. 13 people were killed that day, and i have 13 blue tears (as did Rachel's drawing) with blood.
hers was also a rose. and in another drawing it was growing out of a columbine flower.
something special and lovely grows from the tragic blood spilt that day.
