A calm pale daughter,
On cold pale stone,
Lay silent nigh
The last unknown.

A quiet breeze
Blows past in grace;
Stirred hair floats
About a still face.

A Silent gloom
Upon the wind.
The nightly coo,
Like Angels sinned.

The Darkness calls,
Existence wanes.
Diminished blood,
Halts in her veins.

The joys of Love,
Amount to naught.
Swift shades consume,
Unlace the knot.

A life unlived,
Cut off at prime,
Unmeant to be
Decided in time.

Whilst in the well,
Bells ring above.
So off and anon,
Bereft thereof.

Behold the dream,
Encased in which,
The ethereal realm
Of hers bewitched.

Shifting Shadows
Within the Night,
Seethe and wither,
On the edge of sight.

Whispered shades,
Glide close and afar,
A shifting enigma,
There to stand guard.

Upon the gate:
Eternal the sky.
Beneath the stars:
Her soul must lie.

Beyond the Dusk,
Past abstract straights,
Beyond the Stars,
Twilight’s Bride awaits.
