It's take your daughter to work day and Rarity brings her daughter along with her to her boutique at the city of Manehattan, traveling there on Fancy Pant's yacht. As they make their way to the shop, Divine takes the time to admire the city, which her mother described to her as "The most glamorous city in all Equestria".

Divine: Such a majestic city indeed. It is on par with Applewood.

Rarity: That sure was a wonderful trip and experience we had in Coltifornia.

Divine: Yeah...an experience I won't forget.

They encounter Suri Polomare, an old enemy of Rarity, with a young filly at her side, that we can assume is her daughter. Not being one to hold a grudge for years, Rarity goes to her and politely greets her.

Rarity: Suri... its been a long time. How has life been treating you?

Suri: I've been well, thank you. In fact, I'm one of the top fashion designers in the city now.

Rarity: So I've heard. I presume you earned that position fairly?

Suri: *Nods* In a way... I have you to thank for that. After the publication of the Journal of Friendship, in which you shared the story of our last encounter a decade ago, rumors began to spread about me plagiarizing others' work. So, I was forced to start making outfits entirely on my own to prove myself and maintain my position. Not so surprisingly, I did decently well on my own, without the need of an assistant, especially not one as incompetent and unreliable as Coco Pommel.

Rarity: Well, I'm happy that you were able to get by on your merits and talents, rather than continuing your old bad habit. But you should watch what you say to others.

Suri: Not my fault she didn't appreciate my mentorship. Anyway, I heard your living in Canterlot, married to Fancy Pants, is that true?

Rarity: Mmm hmm ^^

Suri: Looks like we both gone up in the world then. *Looks to Divine* Is she your daughter?

Suri ignores the polite unicorn filly and looks to her own daughter.

Suri: I've got a kid too. Meet Violet Jewel Polomare.

Divine walks up to her and politely greets her before offering her hoof. She doesn't accept it and instead closes her eyes, raising her chin going "hmph". A somewhat surprised Divine walks back to her mother's side, who Violet looks at.

Violet: Many ponies say your the best fashion designer in Equestria. My mom winning Fashion week will certainly change a few minds about that.

Rarity: Ah, so your entering the fashion contest again?

Suri: I am. This is going to be the cities biggest fashion contest yet. Some of the biggest representatives of the fashion world will be there, and will likely promote the winner. Winning will undoubtedly catapult me into my rightful place as Manehattan's best fashion designer.

Rarity: I see. Well, I wish you luck.

Suri: Oh believe me, I won't be needing it.

Violet: Those poor foolish ponies who will be competing against her will be the one's who need luck.

They take their leave, passing by a poor homeless stallion without sparing him any change, which Divine kindly does after they leave. Rarity, feeling a hunch that Suri and her daughter are up to no good, decides to enter Fashion Week as well in order to keep a close eye on her.
