Takes place after this:
The evil sorceress Shadow Specter has corrupted the young mane 6 and their elements of harmony turning them into the elements of disharmony. She ordered them to use their elements to turn Twilight into a statue and bring her back to her lair which they succeeded. She plans for them to capture and turn the other princesses and the rest of the mane 6 into statues to ensure no one will be able to stop her from taking over Equestria and turning it into a land of darkness and chaos.
