Description
Daisy arrived home, a little later than usual. When she went inside, she was confronted by an angry looking Ludwig, whom she loved with all her heart
"Where were you?" He asked angrily
"I ... I just-"
He struck her hard and she looked at him in shock
"What was that for?" She asked
"Where were you?" He asked, ignoring her
She backed away a little and he grabbed hold of her. She became frightened
"G-Germany!" She breathed, starting to cry
"Where were you?" He asked
She could smell alcohol on his breath. He was drunk again ...
"I was at Austria's house ... I was helping him with something" She said
It wasn't a lie, she really did ... and she braved the trip across the crazy Switzerland's lawn to go there and back. He threw her to the floor
"Why didn't you tell me sooner then?" He asked
"You didn't give me the chance to!" She said, tears falling down her cheeks
"Stop crying" He hissed, walking into the kitchen
She burst into tears. She hated this ... one moment he was kind ... kissing her, hugging her ... whispering sweet nothings into her ear ... then the next, he was hitting her. She always went to talk to Kiku, her sweet Japanese friend whenever it happened. Kiku kept telling her she should leave Ludwig ... but she couldn't. She loved him ... and she just didn't have the heart to leave him

Later that day, Ludwig sat next to Daisy on the sofa. He hugged her tightly and noticed the new bruises on her arms
"What happened?" He asked, horrified
"N-nothing ... I just ... walked into a door, that's all" She lied
"I know something's up. Just tell me ... I'm here for you" He said
She stood up
"That's the problem. You say things like that ... then you hurt me!" She said
"Wh-what?" He asked, shocked
"Everytime I come home, you're drunk ... then you hit me ... and once you're sober, you cling to me and say you love me! I can't keep doing this!" She said, starting to cry
"O-oh ..." He mumbled, looking away
He stood up and she flinched, thinking he was going to hit her. But he hugged her
"Th-then ... I'll give up drinking ... I don't want to hurt you" He said, running his fingers through her hair
She sighed
"I want to believe that so much ..." She mumbled, shedding a tear
"I promise!" He said, looking her in the eye
She sighed
"It will never happen again" He said
"I can't believe that, Ludwig ... I can't take this anymore ... so I'm going to move in with my brother Romano ... and I'm not coming back" She said, starting to cry
"I-Italy, no! Please!" He begged
"Kiku's picking me up in the morning ... I'm sorry, Ludwig ..." She mumbled
She broke away from him, running up the stairs crying

The next day, Daisy left the house with her bags packed and looked in the window one last time. Ludwig was watching her leave ... and it hurt to see him so sad ...
I guess that's why they call it a window pane ... She thought, getting in Kiku's car
"Are you sure, Italy?" He asked
"S-si ..." She mumbled, looking at the floor
"His drinking problem will only get worse if you leave. Go, help him fix it" Kiku said
"But-"
"Give him another chance ... go on" He said
She sighed and got out. She got her backs out of the trunk and walked back to the house. Ludwig ran out and hugged her
"D-Daisy ... I promise ... I will never hurt you again ..." He sobbed, holding her tightly
Kiku ... don't make me look like a fool again ... She thought, sighing

Ludwig is currently taking Anger-Management classes and is trying to change his ways
