The passengers were in a rush to get aboard, and right before the guard whistled, Darris noticed an unattended box on the platform. "Driver, someone's left a box on the platform. His driver noticed this and wondered. "I wonder whose it is?" He jumped off of the footplate, picked up the box, and carried it with him as he hopped back on the footplate, then the guard whistled and Darris was off back down the line.
