Description
Here is a very funny deviation. A 2-2-2, uploaded on Tuesday, 2/22/22, at exactly 2:22:22 PM.The Berwick class was a little known design by Dugald Drummond for the North British Railway, produced in 1876 for express passenger duties. Due to Drummond's experience at the side of William Stroudley, these engines bore a slight resemblance to his own G Class singles produced around the same time for the LBSCR. Two examples were produced by Neilson of Glasgow. Very little else is known about them other than that one, number 475, was named "Berwick" which lead to the class getting its name. Neither of the two engines were preserved, both being scrapped in 1910.
