Description The Fairburn class 4 Tanks were the next step in the development of the LMS 2-6-4 design first introduced by Sir Henry Fowler in 1927. These utilized many components from the Stanier 2-6-4 tanks which preceeded it, but incorporated a new boiler and slightly modified running board, among other differences. 277 were built by the LMS and later BR after nationalization. This tank engine would form the basis for the Standard 4 tank. Withdrawals began in 1961 and all were gone by 1967 and two survive into preservation.

Think you could also try an LMS Fowler 2-6-2T?
