"That's enough, Dodge!" Bellowed St. Machan in as imposing a voice as he could. Dodge sized up the three diesels and summarily burst into laughter."Enough of what?" Dodge asked, innocently. "What, are you jealous that a bigger, stronger diesel is gonna take her from you? I bet that I can put more power to the rails in idle on a single cylinder with my injectors turned all the way down than all three of you at full throttle!"
"That's his sister you're messing with! I'd advise you back off!" Rusty snapped, angrily
"Or else what? What could you three twerps to do stop the likes of me?" Dodge scoffed, haughtily. Rusty, Fred, and St. Machan looked at one another in solidarity, then all three of them opened up with a blast of their horns. Ben Glas joined in as well, and the four little diesels made a great noise that echoed through the yard and could be heard all the way at the station. "What was that supposed to do?" Suddenly, two long, green diesels emerged from a nearby siding. It was BoCo and Bear, whom Rusty had told about his and St. Machan's plan to get back at Dodge. The two mainline diesels both wore angry expressions on their faces as they rolled up and put on their air brakes with a sharp hiss.
"I'd take his advice if I were you! We don't take kindly to engines like you tarninshing our reputation as Diesels on Sir Topham Hatt's railway!" BoCo growled
"See?" Smirked Rusty. "I've got some friends in high places." Dodge knew that BoCo and Bear were not to be trifled with,
"Fellas!" He said, trying to placate the two diesels. "I...you don't understand! This is all just a big misunderstanding! Splatter, help me out here!" But Splatter was nowhere to be seen.
