Description

After pulling a fast passenger train from Vicarstown, he coasted to a stop at Knapford Station, stopping smoothly at the platform. As it turned out, Sir Topham Hatt was nearby speaking with Mr. Randal when he saw James pull in smiling, but exhausted after a long run.

"I take it you're enjoying being back on the mainline, James?" He asked once his conversation was finished and Mr. Randal went to catch his train.

"Yes sir!" James answered, enthusiastically. "Even if I get a little winded from going all the way across the island!"

"Excuse me, Sir, there's a phone call for you." Sir Topham Hatt turned around to see a porter standing behind him.

"I'll be right there." He answered.

"Perhaps you should get a cell phone, Sir?" James chimed in.

"Then everyone will be trying to get ahold of me at once!" Sir Topham Hatt replied, and he followed the porter to his office.
