I like cars up until the mid '80s.Β I'm not a huge fan of aerodynamic blobs... but I like the boxy cars of the late '70s and early/mid '80s.Β I pinpoint the 1986 Ford Taurus as the turning point between 'cars I love' and 'cars I tolerate at best'.

Fun fact - The Superbird's horn actually did sound "meep meep!"

So true - the world would be a better place if everyone had one of these.

BEA-AU-TIFUL CAR! The 1970 Superbird is actually my best buddie's dream car, and they are rarer and rarer (he actually knows someone who totally wrecked one).
Such a cool car, with cool history.

Beebeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee..................
That's what you'll hear from this bird as it goes by.Β Seriously, that's how fast it is!

If this bird is the word, I'll change my vocabulary so that bird is my only word!

SMILES .... A great GOLDEN OLDIE hit SONG of my YOUTH ....
BTW: OLD geezer ROTL has OFTEN been 'given' said "BIRD" by
MANY whom he HONKS at for TRYING to DRIVE their vehicle
WHILE either 'texting' on their CELL phone OR YAPPING to someone
as they TURN in FRONT of me like I wasn't even THERE! ....
GRRRRR ..... SMILES ....

Lol, they do the same to me too.Β I don't have a cell phone and I don't plan to ever acquire one.

HELLO! .... I have a CHEAP 'cell' these days ....
Primarily so when I'm out mowing '3' yards all over
or 'out back' OFTEN, I can keep 'tabs' on my 86+
year young, SAINTLY MOTHER who is growing OLD
with all that goes with such ....
I don't have a SMART phone (can't get ONLINE) ....

That was my thought too.Β I've shot this one many times (so much so the owner asked me at a car show last fall if I had taken enough shots of it yet).Β Well, now that I've had the opportunity to get it with a proper background I'm happy.Β Lighting could be a bit better but I'll take what I can get.Β This is a 440 car and is owned by the same person who's the original owner of this Hemi Challenger:
This one is signed on the inside of the rear spoiler by both Richard Petty and Dale Inman.
Pity it was too big to sneak out under my shirt.Β
