This character I think is one of the most psychopathic and insane characters ever conceived!!!!

And also the Salaryman ran him over with his car and then, rather than calling an ambulance, had sex with his girlfriend RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE BODY, then dumped him into a ravine! Yeah, the Metal Fetishist's (it's Metal Fetishist, by the way) revenge is pretty damn well founded. Granted, that doesn't excuse him wanting to quite painfully turn the world into metal, no doubt ruining the lives of countless innocents, but I think the theme of the film is that, well, it was going to happen anyway with mankind's reliance on technology, but it's still messed up. But I do agree, he is probably one of the craziest, most messed up characters ever put to film.

& I'm surprised that the Fetishist isn't up there with Freddy Kruger, Leatherface, Jason Vorhees, Michael Myers, Ghostface, Jigsaw, Norman Bates & the sort....
...maybe it's best that the Fetishist is obscure because his horror would be more terrifying
