<.< >.>Well, after the cutesy niceness of my last pic, I felt the urge to do one that was... not so nice and not so cute.
Not the most refined drawing ever- didn't bother to clean the lineart up much- but bwahaha, I haven't done a let's-be-mean-to-Sonic pic in a while... yay fun.
*cough* Ahem. Anyway, here's a future Sonic going ANGST. One or two people from the STC2 days might remember how he gets into this pitiful state, but there's no need to worry about that- let's just say I have plans and they are *evil* and leave it there XD
Getting to the point- this pic isn't meant to be angst for its own sake. Yes, Sonic has had some nasty things done to him, and yes, he's crying. But there's still defiance there. He's not broken yet. Angst and hope I suppose?

I'm pretty pleased with he way the blue on him came out. And the eyes. (them being the 'wrong' colour is intentional. In my odd little world Sonic's eyes are an indicator of his condition- a nice glowy green is good... nasty greeny grey? er, that's not so good.)

I swear, I think I'm psychic. A few years ago when I was in 6th grade, I thought about making a comic where Sonic learns that he is a creation of Dr.Eggman, and he uses his mechanical powers to stop him. NOW I FIND THIS!!!! Either I'm psychic, or this is just a coincidence. Either way, well done! I really want to see you draw his dark form and his werehog form.

I looked at this pic out of curiosity, and I've got to tell you, I would not have fave'd it if it weren't for your brief summary about it. What an artist intends with their pic has a big impact on how I view it. And I like that there was a story behind this, and the fact that he's "not broken yet."

Oh yea i think the eyes go well wid the pic. It shows that there is something wrong but not something normal, just ignore me of corse you would be able to tell that there was something wrong he has a METAL ARM FOR CRYING OUT LOUD!!!!! Just ignore me ok? cheers!

This picture does make a lot of sense. Sonic being one of Mobius' heroes, should face something nasty sooner or later. Sacrifices are made on the path of a hero. It's painful to cope with them. I can almost feel Sonic's pain in this picture. It just shows that being a hero/heroine isn't as easy as many people think. Sorry for rambling...

Damn, it looks like Sonics been through the wringer ever which way but sideways. This certainly tells a story all it's own. The white streak must be indictive of all the stress his been under. He must not have had much sleep if any as his quills are a complete mess. There is a defience thats in his eyes, also I see anger, frustration, pain and sadness in his tears. Him feeling his robotic arm maybe hints at his arm that might've been taken from him and that he will use this thing on his side to take revenge. His notched ear clearly shows signs of a battle that he lost. Like he is remembering a long buried memory and the reason why he is where he is. He probably removed his glove to remind himself of what his hand looked like and to serve as a reminder to get the person who took his other arm. The ring was maybe for the familiar feeling of the glove round his wrist. It's like he's ready to pay whoever it is a lifetimes worth of hurt and pain that Sonic has felt. The whole design and detail is amazing. In fact I can almost think of a small piece to go to this.
Colonel Granite (A minor villain, yes but one with a great storyline I think) is freed from prison maybe due to the previous primeminister being called a loon or something) and is reinstated. SO he goes back through the portal with his regiment, fights and captures some Freedom fighters and Sonic, who is captured by the SAS. Has his arm removed and a robotic one attached to test out some captured Robotnik hardware. He's rescued by some Freedom fighters and so he fights battles against granite and his men, until the last battle comes when he and the FF launch and all out attack and Sonic is rushed behind enemy lines, the SAS squad is keptt ied up and then it's just Soinc and Granite.
Thats the sort of thing that I came up with. All in all a great pic.

Good pic, I think it really catches the moment.
Change of eye-colour isn't that odd,well, it is when talking characters,as people usually forget or don't even notice that detail, but in the real world it's nothing out of the ordinary,by reading your comment it seems like you havn't noticed?
