<.< >.>Well, after the cutesy niceness of my last pic, I felt the urge to do one that was... not so nice and not so cute.
Not the most refined drawing ever- didn't bother to clean the lineart up much- but bwahaha, I haven't done a let's-be-mean-to-Sonic pic in a while... yay fun.
*cough* Ahem. Anyway, here's a future Sonic going ANGST. One or two people from the STC2 days might remember how he gets into this pitiful state, but there's no need to worry about that- let's just say I have plans and they are *evil* and leave it there XD
Getting to the point- this pic isn't meant to be angst for its own sake. Yes, Sonic has had some nasty things done to him, and yes, he's crying. But there's still defiance there. He's not broken yet. Angst and hope I suppose?

I'm pretty pleased with he way the blue on him came out. And the eyes. (them being the 'wrong' colour is intentional. In my odd little world Sonic's eyes are an indicator of his condition- a nice glowy green is good... nasty greeny grey? er, that's not so good.)

VERY nice! I love the rough shading style ya did here, when I first caught a glimpse of his quills my brain instantly went "SQUEE" ...and it squeed more as I kept scrolling down. XD
Agh! All the little details in here...his torn ear, his arm...GAH THAT ARM! It's so...well done! Rargh...;-; I aboslutely love this to pieces!

Oh my goodness. XD I have NO idea what's happened to him as I cannot buy STC, but even so I can see so much torment in this picture. Though at first I thought Sonic was blind. XD
I really love how the colors have come out, and the texture is amazing. I also love how smooth the robot arm looks, and the blue lights that run along it. All the little details in this, like the missing parts of Sonic's ears and the old-man white quill, make the emotion stand out all the more.

I know it did, but we don't even get old beaten up used comics. I'd have to go on E-Bay (which I loathe << ) to get my paws on one of those comics. And I'm not going to resort to bidding 100 dollars just for a comic. XD

This is awesome. I love these types of drawings, depicting Sonic as a vulnerable creature is something you don't see everyday. I love that white quill in there, and the cuts in his ears. Also nice to see he's without his glove, for once.
For some reason I keep considering the muzzle, arms and belly, to be skin and not fur (probably because of the color) so it's kida weird to see him so fuzzy in those parts.
Still, this is beautiful so it goes in my favorites.

Definately captures all of the points you've set out to in your description. I like it, but i'm not quite sure why. Colouring is spot on, as per the usual, and the lineart is damned good too. The weird clawy hand thing is a bit disturbing, but i guess that's part of the point, haha!
