Description
Here is another picture that has been sitting on my computer for a while. This picture was originally drawn for the fan fic “Sonic: Chaos Seed”, but now it doesn’t quite fit into the story. I suppose I can make it fit if I want it to.

The following is a selection from Chapter three from Rouges perspective

We all look towards Emerald and I am dumbfounding and disquieted by what I see.

He has Knuckles firmly restrained, with Knuckles left arm firmly stretch behind his back. Knuckles looks weak, but he still struggles hard to free himself, with what strength he has left. I can hear his muscles tearing from the strain.

“Are you the last echidna of the clan,” Emerald asks with anger on his face and eyes burning.

Knuckles’ doesn’t respond but tries to lower his stance in order to possibly free his body.

“Agh!”

“Are you the last of your kind,” Emerald repeats, he doesn’t look very happy anymore for some reason, but he continues to twist Knuckles’ wrist with his naked hand, his sharp claws digging into Knuckles back. My ears begin to burn.

In a grunt inaudible by human ears he replies,

“yes”

“Then may your guardianship show its true face,”

It is hard to give words to what I see, but the white crescent on Knuckles chest begins to glow green and white strips hack against his body sliding into place on the writhing guardian. Knuckles eyes are clutched shut and his teeth are held so fast I can hear his jaw cracking from the effort.

“The Master Emerald will pay for what it did and I will have revenge on those responsible, even if I must sacrifice the last of my race.”
