Ok , i'm going to help u too much lol , anyway search googie on google and search googie font too don't forget to search on image too.
Googie is a style and is similar to deco( in my opinion i'm not sure of this ) , characteristic of 50's 60's.
I don't want too explain it now cauze i'm not really good with english .
U have surely see some googie design at television , photo etcetera...
Oh!Another things...in my opinion (lol i'm so repetivetly) in this contest is important do that style of design cauze is a retro future from 50/60's...so the vision of 50/60's future not us vision of future ( sorry i'm so bad with language )

Thanks man and you have some good ideas going here by the way, I had the most difficult time trying to scan this painting in and make it into the digital design for the shirt. The painting was like 20x24 and I had to scan it in in sections of 8x11, and of course each one was a totally different shade of red, but I finally hashed it out and I am really proud of it. I like your idea of using the logo on the back. I thought about trying to incorporate the logo but wasn't sure if I could make it work, but you totally made it look cool with the "Today." Did they say to use the logo in the design? Do you think by putting the logo in ourselves, that would make it more likely to win? I figured they would put in the logo how they wanted at the end and they just wanted the actual "concept retro art." Have you participated in a contest on here before?

Thank you very much! Wow it sounds like that must have been very time consuming and tedious. I'm glad you got it figured out! The end result was very cool!

I don't think we were required to use or not use the logo. Somehow the idea just came to me and I liked it. I don't know that using it or not using it will really affect our chances, although the final decision is given to "panel experts," which I assume have interests vested in dA in general. So it's hard to say. I'm sure they will add the logo if not present and may keep the logo if deviants have already included it in their piece.
