Aren't you that guy who got pissed off when one guy said he loves JP on some dino Forum?

You'd have to link me.
I'll admit that I've said some rude things and I feel bad about it.
thats why I don't behave like that anymore.
I'm going to have an argument. I respect people's opinions more now.

Do we know exactly what austroraptor's wings looked like?
Is there a Fossil showing us?

No. ,but based on everything we know about dromaeosaurid plumage this doesn't look quite right. Yes That's my opinion but if you disagree you should talk to Emily Willoughby about it.

I understand what your saying about austroraptor, but to me it looks fine.
As for the JP thing, It was probably some other guy, the comment was made in the forgotten age of 2013.
The guy who made it just had the same avatar as you.
I haven't really seen any dino fans that don't like JP either,
(I'm assuming you like JP) Anyways, your art is really good!

Yeah I wasn't even around here then.
i love jp despite it's inaccurate dinosaurs because it's 1 just for entertainment and 2 it was actually pretty groundbreaking for the time.
jurassic park is one of my favourite movies of all time.
I think the lost world isn't as bad as people say it is and I loved it.
jurassic park three has no good reason to exist, other than making it a trilogy for more money.
I have mixed feelings about Jurassic world because I wanted to see updated dinosaurs but at the same time I understood that it's just a movie. It had some cool moments but in my opinion it wasn't great.

Right now I am pursuing a career filmmaking,
I WAS a paleontologist for about 5-6 years, I specialized in Tyrannosauridae and Ornithomimosauria
I left the profession though, as I wanted more than doing paper after paper, then all the fieldwork, then the analysis of all those fossils.
Fun thing was, you got a heads up on all the latest discoveries before they were even published.

I have pretty much the same opinion as you on the franchise!
I enjoyed JW, although it DID have plenty of flaws, I like it.
I HATED JP3

Jurassic park three is terrible. Why does it exist?
the only people I know of who like it are little kids.

I wish I was fricking alive to see the first movie. And the lost world.
i also wasn't old enough to see jp3 in cinemas because I was only two years old. But I'm glad I missed that one. XD
I'm only 17. So wish I could just travel back in time.

okay, now this is a way to make those feathers not seem silly. you made a really nice model here on how raptor feathers could appear. so tired of the ridiculous versions to raptors and rex, this is a refreshing piece incorporating the new ideas of feathers.

show me your idea of ridiculous and I'll decide if your'e a fanboy or a knowledgeable individual.

versions where they have full wings and the "wings" are dragging across the ground. the length and weight would likely make such an animal like a raptor very ungainly. though it is possible that they were and the sleek and fieresome predator is mere myth. and on what basis are you to decide if one is a fanboy or not when there is no arbitor of such?

In my depictions I usually have my raptor's arms folded so the wing doesn't get in the way of various physical activity. Also most of the time I see fanboys as those who say "ugh they should stop giving dinosaurs feathers in the first place because I think they look dumb." Your'e not a fanboy if you give an actual reason as to why disagree with a good argument. Here I see you aren't a fanboy because you gave a reason.

ah. i can accept that definition. while aesthetically I find a featherless raptor more pleasing and it could just be the nostalgic factor of the beast (after all, i've known a featherless raptor and dinosaurs in general for like 20+ years) I can accept that evidence does show things like raptors having feathers (even if took me over a year to accept this fact). But I don't find myself agreeing with the giant long feathers i've seen many scientist want to put on them because of the drag factor and because being a carnivor, if those things get dirty they're a bitch to clean. it's also part of the idea i've understood of why condor and vulture are bald, to avoid getting flesh chunks stuck in their feathers and creating infections. (makes me wonder if things like compys and raptors were also bald due to this trait?) there's a variety of possibilities with feathers on their appearance but without more fossil imprints it's difficult to pinpoint anything. there is also the question if all dinosaurs were this way as i do remember them (scientist) having found the scale impressions from the body of a corythasuarus if i remember correctly? so it could be left to question wether some dinosaurs fit the traditional model and only some were feathered? there's quite a few questions honestly. ones like ankylosaurus i'm almost certain had none based on that shape and skeleton with the armor makes it unlikely that particular beast had feathers I think.

I do understand about the whole naked raptors looking more pleasing (don't take that the wrong way their naked is different from ours) seeing as to how JW has showed us they have personalities and strong bonds.

yeah. i think it's more that "traditional" view type of thing and being comofrtable with it. I'm sure later on people will be very comfortable with feathered versions and wonder why we ever thought of them without feathers.

these models are great! I love your tyrannosaurus, puertasaurus and others from the stomping land. Will you be improving the current models for gallimimus, ankylosaurus, and stygimoloch? Because those three are not as realistic as the other dinosaurs. But so far everything you are putting into this game looks fantastic!

Thanks! Well, I think Anky and Stygi are quite good but as for Gallimimus, it should be remodeled as far as I know. But I'm not sure who will make it.

The ankylosaurus head is missing most of it's snout that's the main problem with it otherwise is a very good model.
