Why is the first one horribly shrink wrapped?

I like the last one (2013), but would like it more if the skull was as robust as the one from the 2009

Wouldn't they not have feathers according to the newest findings?

there is no evidence today that actually proves tyrannosaurus having feathers as an adult. With it's body weight it just wouldn't need to in order to stay warm, while younger species may have had some areas covered and juveniles may have had a lot of them. Some smaller tyrannosaurid species have been confirmed to have "feathers" (note - they wont be exactly like the bird feathers of today, more like quills closely resembling them), but those were much lighter built than tyrannosaurus. And judging from some estimations of tyrannosaurus in mass ranging from 6-9 tons, I highly doubt it would need feathers to stay warm and etc when it reached it's full size. But I'm sure we'll see more once scientists continue the studies.

There are no such evidences for T.rex. Moreover, there are 3 or 4 skin marks of Tyrannosaurus, Tarbosaurus and Gorgosaurus from different parts of the body which show very small scales. So at least some areas of these animals didn't have feathers.

Those of T. rex are undescribed so they barely count, there's also rumours of T. rex skin impressions that look "like plucked chicken".
I'm not sure of the others but for from what I've read, all dinosaur "scale" impressions are diminutive polygonal scales more akin to those scales in the underside of bird's feet which btw are not homologues in neither structure nor development to lizard or even crocodilian scales.

Interesting! It may have been the case for raptors then. We can't conform nor exclude these theories yet but you seem to have more accurate knowledge on this field then I do.

These are all excellent in their own way and it's exciting to see your progress! The ROM is my favorite place. I didn't get to play with the interactive stuff last time I went. It's so neat to see your work for them! I'm so curious to know who the last T.Rex is for!

Thanks ) The ROM one was good but it has quite simple skin details. I used that one as a basis for my latest model so they have similar bodies. ))
