Not Bad, but the sail is off. Try to edit it to THIS sail-shape.

They based that sail off Acrocanthosaurus (indirectly) and changed some irrelevant (to that particular discovery) parts too.
Its neck seems less flexible, because of the sail.
The main thing, is that this model was based on a skeletal reconstruction by Scott Hartman, not the most recent skeletel reconstruction by Scott Hartman or the most accurate reconstruction by Scott Hartman.
A skeletal reconstruction, not the.
He'll probably make another one for that newer reconstruction, but I don't think he's going to remove/replace this one.

Hi Swordlord very fine reconstruction I like your reconstruction of a lot better than the longer, and something in the front area overlasting Reko to me but rather for a quadruped dinosaur

Dude! That's awesome but...
You have based the Spino on this skeletal reconstruction? [link]
Because the body of this dino is more longer...
Take a look here [link]
This is the reconstruction made by a compatriot paleoartist, Davide Bonadonna.
The body proportions of Spinosaurus aegyptiacus were reconstructed on the base of the new fossils that are still under study. The size (it was 16 meters long) was estimated from cranial remains of the largest individual described, preserved in the Natural History Museum of Milan.
You should consider it

Man, how can we know the length of Spinosaurus if we have only a few bones of him? The shape of Spinosaurus' body based on the Baryonyx and Suchomimus.

The drawing of Mr. Hartman is dated 2006 . In these 5 years the reconstruction of Spinosaurus are changed. Here is a table Panzarin [link]
And here there are a digital reconstruction under the supervision of Simone Maganuco.
[link]
As you can see the head is much smaller in proportion to the body.
Even if Spinosaurus, Baryonyx and Suchomimus are related does not mean that Spino have the same proportions.
Utahraptor, Deinonychus and Velociraptor are related but have their differences.

And? I haven't seen the bones of Spino's body or extremities on your links. Only skull.
And the digital reconstruction from your link has the same proportions as my model. )
Btw, reconstruction by Greg Paul (2010) is the similar.
>Even if Spinosaurus, Baryonyx and Suchomimus are related does not mean that Spino have the same proportions.
Until we have new fossils we should use the skeletons of nearest species.

The paleontologists Maganuco and Cau are studying the new finds in Milan.
If with their supervision has come to portray the Spinosaurus with a mole of this kind, it will mean something or not?
They will know certainly more than we.

All that I need is the information about discovered bones. At least the names of them. Without it I'm free to make all that I want with proportions. I haven't heard anything new about the skeleton of Spinosaurus (except some anatomical features of his skull) from the recent researches.

But the proportions are actually the same. And I've spoken with Bonadonna. )

You didn't hear anything because it's very recent.
The National Geographic link that I sent you is dated September 14th of this year.
It belong to an exposure made here in Italy called "Dinosauri in carne ed ossa" "Dinosaurs in the flesh and bones" where they are showing the new discoveries.
I'll tell you why it would be a pity for your reconstruction. I love your digital works, lot of them are in my materials to use as reference. But this spino looks too much like the version of Jurassic Park 3, and the reconstruction in the movie was incorrect.
>Without it I'm free to make all that I want with proportions.
No if the research give you new informations about the proportions.
Panzarin, Bonadonna and other paleoartists are contributing to its update
