Description
A character alignment sheet for the Zelda series I've been thinking about for a while. Each Picture has a quote from the character pertaining to the alignment (except of course for Link, whom the quote is about). I might revisit it again at some point if I can think of better examples for each catagory. Hope you like it, let me know what you think!Related content

Technically, you did give link a quote from himself...

I think Ganondorf and Igos should be switched around... And he's also more neutral as well. xD

I prefer Chaotic Good, and just Chaotic in general...CHAOS FOR THE WIN!

I feel that Zelda's neutral good, link's chaotic good, Midna's chaotic neutral or true neutral, the postman I actually agree with XDXDXD
Ganondorf's more neutral evil than anything, with or without his lawful tendencies.
I'm not sure about the goblin king,
MAJORA'S MASK IS DEFINITELY CHAOTIC EVIL.
I'm not sure about igos du ikana, I see him as neutral,

This is great! Igos du Ikana had awesome, awesome dialog in Majora's Mask.
You did such a great job picking quotes, awesome job!

Nice work, but i consider Link as THE Lawful Good - Type. Way more than Zelda. (especialy in Wind Waker ^.^") I Would swap them.

These are all great. I especially like your choices for lawful and chaotic neutral...they just made a really satisfying click in my brain. Majora's quote is spot-on for the alignment assignment (haha). The only one I'd disagree with is Igos; he helps Link out after he's defeated, and seems to regret his actions, so he clearly wasn't truly evil (probably cursed or something).

I feel that the King was not evil in life, but became evil with the curse that befell the rest of the kingdom, and the curse on him was broken when Link defeated him.

It's arguable, but did he have a purpose in mind when he was evil? From my understanding of the alignments, the lawful-chaotic axis is based on motivations: ergo, lawful evil has a larger goal and/or a personal code of some sort; neutral evil is out for selfish gains; and chaotic evil does it for no real reason, which often (but not always) means random, baseless hatred, or else a sick sense of amusement (a la Majora). Igos du Ikana didn't seem to have any aim in mind, whether external or internal; this would make his cursed form more of a chaotic evil. (Along those lines, Ganondorf is a debatable example as well; he seems to straddle the lawful/neutral line pretty evenly, especially depending on the game, but I'd say either one fits just fine.)
Of course, knowing me, I have it all completely wrong...but I still think there are better examples of neutral evil. Zant, for example, would probably fit; all he seemed to want was power. If I have the criteria wrong, though, feel free to correct me or argue your own view of the lines. All I know is what I read on TV Tropes.

In WW Ganondorf does comment he wanted to bring the Winds of Hyrule to his people
I think he kinda went crazy with all that power and went
You know what screw then!
The Gerudo in OO seens to be against him considering Nabooru is some sort of second in command and she is against Ganondorf

That's a really good idea. And the more I pounder about it, the more sense it makes. It's like one of those thought you "knew all along", but never thought about. I bow my head and lift my hat for you
