I notice several people use my sprite bases to make their own sprites (I'm prefectly fine with it btw ^_^) I just thought I'd upload a tutorial on how I make my sprites. This one just shows how to get the base sprite down, the next one deals with making the actual Sprite Sheets

Paint for most of it. Then Photoshop for some color adjustments

Nice to have a tutorial and eventual full sheet! Hey, do you think if people who wanted their character in SFC made said character's sprite sheet you'd use that sheet instead of making your own?

I've done that before, so it is a possibility, but it has to be in this style though. To keep everything consistant

I will do that in Part 3, but the only thing different is the head. BOdy stays similar
