Some awesome concept art by my bud for my slowly developing Ultraman fan concept/love letter 'Ultraman Break', and in this case the Ultraman in question.

Ultraman Break is, in this story, the latest addition to the long history of Ultras. Tried to twist the concept formula a bit in that it's human counterpart isn't exactly what you'd call 'Ultra Material', he's not apart of ANY Science Patrol-like group, he's not exactly that fit, and he's not Japanese (an American, currently in the concept). So it's basically Ultraman by way of the show 'Greatest American Hero'.

Because, unfortunately for this particular human, Ultras (in this story's mythos) tend to be mostly fluent in Japanese, so when he starts out... this guy has ZERO idea as to how the whole 'Ultraman' job works. He's got the voice of 'Break' in his head, (speaking mostly in Japanese) and has to now go fight bizarre alien monsters in both his home country and abroad.

But as he goes, he begins (with Break's help) to get the hang of it... and just in time too... because there's a looming threat on the horizon that threatens the galaxy.

I really enjoyed how this turned out, did an amazing job at bringing Break out of the realm of 2D sprites. Thanks so very much dude.
