Another return to the world of Dragon Ball 'What Ifs?' by

This isn't the result of someone trying to talk sense into the creature, the bio-android known as 'Perfect Cell', or having saved his life, or him seeing the error of his ways.

No... this time it's the result of time travel/multiverse shenanigans that has Trunks and Krillin NOT kill the present day larval/fetal Cell as he's incubating in the 'sub-lab' of Dr. Gero. Instead they let Bulma and her father work on it to unravel and reprogram some things to create what they dub 'Android 21' (as, in-universe, the ACTUAL Android 21 hasn't shown up yet... if ever), a much less-vicious and evil version of the creature known as 'Cell'. He's almost nothing like his alternate future counterpart, as he grows up alongside Goten and Trunks. He gets Piccolo as a mentor (and possible sentry to keep an eye on him), and everything seems to be going pretty well for the lanky bugman as he hits what the predecessor would've dubbed the 'Imperfect Stage', save for an understandably strained relationship with his 'siblings', Androids 17 & 18. Well that and the fact he's a giant humanoid bug-monster.

But then comes the 'Buu Saga', and things begin to get.... complicated for the Android. He participates in the World Martial Arts Tournament, but eventually leaves to help his friends fight Badidi's forces. This in turn brings him up against Dabura, who manages to curbstomp the young insectoid. Against his better judgement, and the teachings of his mentor, Android 21 goes on instinct and uses his tail to absorb the shocked and surprised demon lord.

And things only escalate for him there. But he ends up, after it all, sporting a very familiar form.

So, long block of text aside, decided to try my hand at doing a sprite of him. Wasn't the most aggravating of jobs, just had to tweak Piccolo's clothes so that they fit onto the body of Perfect Cell. The ends of the pant legs gave me the most trouble as they had to fit his weird chitinous bug legs. Still had to tweak his feet in the end.

Also decided to shorten/shrink his antennae/crown a bit.
