I finally got around to finishing an element piece of my favorite pony. I remember agreeing to watch the first episodes with my roommate and his friend, and not being particularly impressed with any particular ponies during the first few minutes. Twilight wasn't being incredibly likable and no one else stood out, and then this pony appeared, and I was charmed by her sweetness and mannerisms. She reminded me of my younger self, when I was pretty shy and introverted; I was kind and friendly but I didn't really let many people know about that as I generally kept to myself.I'm not exactly sure what happened after I finished drawing Fluttershy herself. I thought about three different butterflies being formed into her Element, and then I went all cosmic butterfly and all natury with the flowers and such (it seems a little hippie-esque, but of all the Mane 6 Fluttershy would have the highest potential to become a hippie). Plus it fits her personality, being gentle and all...enjoy!
