Another entry for Short Challenge #13 - Special Halloween . My idea for this piece was to return to my typical high-fantasy style (large eyes, voluptuous lips, waifish figure, glowing lighting, story-book illustration line-art, etc.). I didn't have much of a plan going in, though I did want to include a blood-moon and a raven. In multiple ancient mythologies, ravens carried the souls of the dead to the Land of the Dead. So, I thought I'd do a spin on that and have a witch summoning a raven-like creature of power. Why is she summoning the Guardian of Souls? Only she knows.
