"The Disney Out of Character Contest"
Two works in one day? What is this?! Have I gone mad? (I'm guessing yes ...) And I have a background again! 100% digital! Not even a sketch first! MIRACLE!!!
Ok, moment of randomness aside, I will dare say that I honestly cannot remember the last time I had so much fun working on a single peace! I'm certain that there must be some perspective mistakes in there (the boards on the wall are bothering me a bit ...) but right now, I don't really care! I'm f***** proud of this!
Now, back to our sheep
How exactly does this work fit the theme of the contest?
... We have Ratigan, the one who had that big fancy purple king-overcoat and who matched pink with indigo ... mainly someone who has no idea about matching colors, for God's sake! And we have him work as a TAILOR? And what is this I see? Mrs. Judson working for him?! HAS THE WORLD GONE MAD! And to top thinks Basil's the ... model?! ... and we have a sunny GMD work?
Must I really say more?
They have some pretty odd faces in there ... almost like their caught in the middle of a conversation. What are they saying? (it ain't gonna be pretty guys ...)
Basil: This was not what I had in mind when I suggested a change of plot ...
Mrs. Judon: Mr. Basil, for heaven's sake, stop moving!
Basil: I've been unmoving for the past half an hour, woman! And what's more, I'M WEARING THIS ABNORMALLY!!!
Ratigan: How's it going my dears? Oh, goodness gracious! This is superb work Mrs. Judson! The colors, the material! Dearest me, it matches our model's eyes perfectly!
Basil: I am not a model!
Mrs. Judson: Mr. Basil, stop fussing already!
Ratigan: Oh, this shall be my masterpiece! What do you think, Basil?
Basil: ... I think you shouldn't give up on your profession as this world's "greatest criminal mind" quite yet, Ratigan ...

What she's always doing, being adorable!
(and laughing at ultimate randomness XD)

Making characters go OOC is just too much fun! Especially when - as we can see here (Ratigan measuring Basil's inside leg
speaking of which ... did I keep Myerricroft goodness gracious! I finally learned to spell it! in character in the last chapter? Or ... Vole for that matter? I still feel more then just bad for doing this to him ... but things will get better for him! I promise!

I'm not typically one who likes making characters go OOC at all. I'm a canonist, after all. But it's all in good humour.
Just a few things. It's "James Patrick Ratigan". Note that Moriarty's name was James and his brother, the colonel, was named James and, since this seems like a family tradition, Moriarty's station-master brother must be named James, too. Difference being their middle names. Of course, this is just MY OWN personal theories. Myerricroft was good, although I wasn't sure if he was talking to them standing up or sitting down -- Myerricroft's more the sitting down type. Yeah, I'm feeling bad for Vole; he's too nervous for this kind of work it seems.

Well, there will be characters that go OOC (Mad Hatter and Alice sounds familiar 
Myerricroft was definitely sitting down (can't see him standing for THAT long). As for Vole ... he strikes me as the kind of guy who likes to do everything by the book. When things get a bit odd (and given the situation that is a HUGE understatement) I'm not sure he'd know what to do (and with an inspection going on I'm sure that's not helping him any). But something tells me he'll be getting the hang of things soon enough. regardless of what anyone would say, he is one of the best.
