I absolutelly love Basil so much. I was so sad when I went back too my favorite Basil Message Board on Network54 ran by Ethel. I miss the whole crew so much I actually tryed too start my own Basil Message Board up using same Network54 like Ethel. But it was too confusing for me so if anybody would like like too try and make a GMD message board I would be there.

For the longest time I was against Basil wearing glasses because of my own woes of being picked on when I had to wear glasses as a kid. Also felt his eyes were as strong as a hawk's, meaning he never needed them. So, what do I do? I draw a spoof of Basil looking like Harry Potter! It was for a contest, mind you, but sometimes glasses make the character all the more...you know, studly! I attempted to block that awful teasing from my childhood and tried to focus on Basil being able to get away with it and no worries of taunts!

Absoultely cannot believe I haven't seen this before...oh it's sweet! My concrit is, his eyes have no color. They're just black circles for the iris and pupil, so adding color makes it look a little...strange. XD But overall it's great!!

I'm aware of how Disney designed his character, but this was me adding my own spin. I enjoy giving people eye colour because eyes are fun TO colour. =3
