... Ladies and gentlemen, it is with shame that I return after so many weeks of total absence with nothing more then this little doodle which is hardly worth the effort (nothing more but a sketch during English class quickly colored in photoshop).Ether way! I still have things to draw for tomorrow and existing structures to invent (don't ask) I present to you a Basil in the eve of one of his experiments. What he'd doing exactly - with what looks like a bullet and chemicals - I don't know and nether am I sure I want to know. I can only imagine and in the wise words of Blaise Pascal, "imagination decides everything".

Even the simplest creations can be a masterpiece. You don't have to have a lavish background or draw five characters to call it art. This is beautiful as is. Basil looks so adorable in that little apron of his and the plus is you've got him doing detective work here. Excellent job all around.

In short: he's happy
(and to tell the truth, I never knew until I started drawing just how much I wanted to have Basil wear an apron like that ... it's like, I was constantly having that mental image of Holmes wearing his little apron while doing all his experiments - only I never knew it XD)

I love the apron on him. It's as if he's taking the initiative to protect his clothing. And hang on, I just noticed he's not wearing a waistcoat underneath. Is it a long-sleeved white coat? It looks like there's sleeves other than the shirt sleeves at his wrists.
