Description "He thought in that confusing moment that he must be hallucinating. Surely he was ill. After passing out in the snow he must have caught something. Yes, he was hallucinating. Why else would he see Olivia Flaversham clinging onto him like life depended on it?

And here we are! The end of the road! The last of the lot! And all that's in between

God, I can't believe I actually finished something ... And i can't believe how proud I am of it! A Winter's Tale is officially FINISHED! I am happy!... yet sad that it's actually over There may be a sequel if I have enough reviews though, but the story itself, is finished.

Rejoice people, for this has been my present for all of you. Season's greetings, dear friends, and a Happy New Year!

Such a cute story...I was laughing at so many parts...the humor was great (afraid I didn't quite catch the French lit reference in ch 1 & 5)

Just a few spelling and grammar mistakes here and there...other than that...

I wish you had done en epilog with the trio seeing Olivia's dad and him being ok

Just finished reading "A Winter's Tale," it is soo very good. Short but sweet. And your idea of an alternate beggining is superb! And the pictures are really good and really capture the events of the story. Please keep writting and doing art, you are so good at it!

University happened
No, have no fear - WitD will continue as soon as I'm finished with my first batch of exams, which should be around February. OR - if I'll be sober enough during New Years (... strange since I only drink soda ) I might update just before uni starts its endless torture again

This is adorable! What can I say, I'm a major sucker for hugs. After reading the final chapter, it really got me thinking. If Olivia's father isn't fit to care for her, will Basil even have the heart to send her elsewhere? The ending just makes you think that there are so many possibilities. I loved it and this.

Awwww! That is such a sweet picture! Hugs are always a favorite thing for me to look at and this is a darling pose of the two. I just finished reading the chapter now. It ends with more possibilities, but it was a good spot to put up "The End" as if to say whatever happens will happen. I wrote a similar one-shot with this situation, but never published it. I was afraid people wouldn't like it. It was after I read Alan Young was having serious health issues, so the story kind of wrote itself.

Anyway, congratulations! It's always a nice feeling to write a story from start to finish!

Truth be told, I've been working on this story for a week now. I wanted to get it all up by Christmas as a gift for the community, but alas, internet would not agree with me. But I did have it done by Christmas

So as the saying goes: better latter then never

And concerning the ending: that WAS my intention to begin with. You see, if people like it, and I mean REALLY like it, I may just find some energy to write a sequel for it (after exams, that is). I still had so many idea which I simply couldn't sneak into the story but which I'm dying to use at some point of my life so... whatever happens, happens ^^

But all in all - FINISHED!

You're welcome! Technically, it's still considered Christmas! I honestly did like it, it was a sign of hope that everything will work out, fate is happy again, and so forth. I adored the little inner thoughts Basil kept having with Olivia, like when he thought he just signed a death wish, things like that is so typical of him. I do that myself, having him wish he were somewhere else while grinning on the outside.

As they say in France, Fin!
