Description Children, you should run. This... is not good. Anatomy is FAIL, colors are off and all in all - I probably need a new life. Oh, and a new sketchbook too. The old one's full. Also, you could say that this was some sort of an experiment... and follow-up to this:



but at the same time... I dunno. I read too much fanfiction. That and I couldn't stop thinking that just maybe Severus and Lily did at least ONCE do a silly enough thing like playing pirates. Just maybe, I dunno. Ether way, it was nice escaping the hell which is real life for a while.

Aw, I love this idea, I hope they played pirates too! You're right, I think we often concentrate on the sadness of Snape's life, coz it was so tragic overall, but I hope there were lots of times like this.

All my Snape fics are sad & I've just started writing one where something nice happens. It will be set when they're older but this can be emotional inspiration! Thanks xx

So lovely, and refreshing! Most of the art I've seen of young Sev and Lily seem to have similar themes of young love or, I dunno, something sad. But this is so perfect and moving in its own refreshing way. They WERE kids when they met and this is exactly what kids do. Love it!

My point exactly! When I was little I remember that playing pretend was one of the best things of the day. A tree could be a fort, a bush was a kitchen, and a hole was the underground lair of the evil fire lord which planed to burn all living cre-... I had issues

AHEM! Ether way - play pretend seamed like such a very everybody-did-it-once kind of game... and I'm a sucker for children's games (... I have issues ) so... why not? Not to mention that whenever I search up Snape and Lily art I end up getting depression, so the funner the better?
