Those watercolours seemed too light on real paper. Once darkened digitally, it definitely looks better.

I prefer her wearing the blue dress too.. It fits to her royal blood and makes her look less like a Barbie doll.

She is indeed. She was my least favorite fairy when I was a kid, but I find her quite cute and funny now
