Description A few years back, me, two friends and my brother sat down and drew some creatures and objects we got from SlimeBeast's Random Monster Generator. I enjoyed these weird creations so much, I decided to re-draw these, as well as every other thing on the list I printed, and give them all fun backstories. These drawings are from after our session, and were originally done up about a year and a half ago.

NOTE: The Apple is an extra creature I made up and added when I re-re-drew these a few weeks ago. It is the Pear's nemesis.

Prompt: Elderly Lizzie The Horse Snatcher

"I-I saw it. I saw what was taking our horses. I-it was huge!"

In Texas there lies a legend. A legend about a beast tall as a house. A beast that takes horses away in the night. The Horse Snatcher is what they call it. Nobody has ever seen it, but they have heard its haunting wails during the night. When they finally get the courage to check, usually by the time the sun rolls up, all their horses are gone. In their place, stand skeletons of horses, skeletons that often aren't quite put together right, yet still stand as if they were living things. "Old Man" Troy didn't believe in such shit. It was clear that the horses were disappearing in the area, sure. Yeah, there was also some skeletal horses in their places, but that was likely some fake Hollywood-style magic the thieves whipped up to send the locals into a frenzy. Troy wasn't falling for it. No, instead, he decided he would sit on his porch, with a shotgun and wait out every night and catch the bastards in the act. Many sleepless nights went by as Troy sat over his property like a hawk, but nothing came. Even nearby farms had been free of the terror during this time, causing most to believe the threat was over. But not Troy. This was just downtime; the thieves were just waiting for people to grow lax. So Troy stuck with his plan. It was three more nights that had passed before Troy finally succumbed to sleep on his watch. It was his horses' cries that woke him. Troy snapped to action, turning on his floodlights, and illuminating his property. What he saw froze him in place. A massive beast easily plucked his prize horse out from the stables with a long, lanky arm. With its other arm, it placed the pristine, yet misshapen skeleton of a horse back into the stable. Troy screamed, and fired his shotgun into the creature's side. The beast stopped, turned to Troy, and unleashed a loud wail that caused the man to drop to his knees in fear. The beast then turned, and walked back into the forest. Troy could only listen in horror as his horse's cries faded into the distance.

Prompt: The Apple

"I don't think I'll ever eat a fruit again..."

When they say "an apple a day keeps the Doctor away", they are wrong. That is a mistranslation. The true saying is the opposite, "A doctor a day, keeps the Apple away". Spread the word. Don't feed its power. It isn't to late to stop it.

Prompt: Lamp Liquifier

"No. Sudden. Movements."

Yullerguls, more commonly known as "Lamp Liquifiers", are a supernatural entity occasionally found near human settlements. While a Yullergul is perfectly content with staying in its home dimension, feasting on other supernatural entities, they are often tempted into our world by the most unlikely of sources; lamps. Yes, common, everyday household lamps. It is unknown what, exactly, it is about lamps that attract Yullerguls to our realm, be it their chemical composition or perhaps some other, more abstract reason. Regardless of the reasons, lamps DO bring Yullerguls into our world. Ordinarily, this isn't much of a problem. The Yullergul enters, sprays its acidic bile on the lamp which in turn liquefies it, they lap up the remains and return home. Easy. Sure you get some residents you wonder where the hell the lamp went and what the hell that black stain came from, but otherwise there's no real issue. it's when a Yullergul is seen, or even trapped that things can become dangerous. Yullerguls are easily frightened, and when they get frightened they spray whatever scared them with their acid. This is very bad. That acid can eat through a human with minimal effort. So, step one: If you see a YUllergul, leave it be. It will likely leave of its own volition. Step two: If the Yullergul doesn't leave, avoid going anywhere near it and call your local Paranormal Expert immediately. If the Yullergul is startled, or perceives you as a threat, run like hell.

Thanks! I'm a fan of her design, even if I'm not entirely sure why myself. She was one of the first I really latched onto and fleshed out, even having various day dreams about her. That's when I knew this project was gonna be real fun, and that creating stories for these would create some unique oddities.
