Description
I was asked by my friend to do a poster for the play that our college will be having and i did (which is this one) but he rejected it. This is gonna be a small rant:

To be honest.... I'm beyond angry and frustrated. He asked me to do it and i did, thinking that there's no one to do it. But he simply rejected it, saying it's too artsy and hard to find a suitable font for the poster. He asked for a simpler version, and i give him that, the one with flat colours, no shading, nothing. Also rejected saying that there's too many colours and he wants it to look like a silhoutte. I was so frustrated and angry that i can't even form any words to say to him. He didn't tell me he wanted a silhoutte like figure for the poster. I spent more than 9 hours, battling with my laptop making a fuss, which in the end got rejected. I just felt like i wasted a lot of time which i could use to do my assignments. All of my assignments would have been finished if it weren't for this! And he even told me to do the poster not anime-ish. My art style is anime style, so that's a total no no.

I seriously feel like crying and screaming right now. I told him that maybe he could find someone else, since i asked for more time if i need to redo everything and i'm worried if i couldn't make it. And guess what, he said he already had someone. It's like he doesn't rely on me in the first place. And truthfully, i felt betrayed. I can't believe i'm stupid enough to help him with nothing in return.

This is probably the last time i'm gonna do a poster. My art style is illustrations and anime style art, so i'm just gonna stick on that. And probably the last time i'm gonna help someone. Drawing takes a lot of time to finish, if people could just show a little appreciation instead of a flat out reject, it would feel much better.
