Last time, it was Smellerbee - this time, Sokka's on the receiving end of my mid-project angst.

of course not! (I'm not advocating we kill off sokka here, i'm just saying that, as a warrior, sokka would give the "last full measure of devotion" to those he loves). it's always a bad thing when the comic relief gets offed, but I was stressing (still am).

remember, suki gave him a set of fans on kiyoshi, and he lost one. here, i have it that she's dead, and he decided to use the weapon she gave him to exact vengeance.

This is absolutely wonderful. A little angst here and there can be very pleasing to the eye after viewing all fluff and 'happily ever after' drawings for quite a long time.

Aw...the Sokka fangirl in me is sobbing, this picture is beautiful but really really sad. Amazing how you can capture so much emotion and drama in that one picture, with little to no explanation. Great job!
