Writing one, but painfully slow, and I haven't posted anything on the net (mainly because I can't decide if I prefer this "all survived" or the canon "only one survived". I'm leaning towards "all survived".)

Indeed, the world gets more fully experienced than with just one PC with one kind of personality. Although the fifth Blight might be Mahariel-centric in this case, the other origins will have some important doings after the Blight (eg. Cousland is queen, Tabris gathering an elven army, Aeducan just wating for an opportunity in king Bhelen's shadow ...)
Although most of it will probably be thrown over when DA3 comes out ...

Seven years, you mean? Yeah, that's quite a long time for them to lurk around. But I have a few stories made up about what they were doing during DA2, based on the gameplay, so it's all DA3 that may undermine them.
I've heard rumors there will be some kind of magic explosion in DA3, with nearly the whole Chantry hierarchy being wiped out, and a demon invasion, but they may just be rumors ...

Nice lineup by the way you should totally play the witcher games and read the books very awesome especially if you like Dragonage, and thanks to you I now imagine my city elf warden talking like Iorveth as I kill the tevinter slavers in the aleinage.

I watched someone play Iorveth's path on youtube (took me several days, youtube loads very slowly for me) and I came to adore him. There's just something about that nose ...
I got all my Origins inspired from fictional characters 
Cousland = Lara Croft. Amell = Miguel (The Road to El Dorado). Surana = dr House / prof. Fansworth. Brosca = Bender. Aeducan = Vetinari. Mahariel = Pocahontas. Tabris = Iorveth. ... I think Tabris got the heaviest influence.

Lol, yeah Purple Garrett Hawke is the Hawke I play as. I tried to emphasis Amell's and Hawke's kinship, both in looks and personality. I went for Christian Bale in looks: [link]
