Description
Title: RavenDescription: My first Raven fanart piece! I tried to keep things simple concerning her pose and the background, so as to make sure to get the basic things such as proportion right. I know it doesn't really look much like her, but I think I need to practice before I can master the true art of TT fanart.
Information: Painted using acrylics, and the contrast adjusted slightly (the original scan didn't come out very well). Created over a period of a week or so- 3 to 4 hours all together.

the ends of the cloak look very nice. I also like the way the colors bleed into eachother near the bottom.

I like it a lot! I'm a raven fan as you can see
and I really liked the detail of the cloak too
the only thing I would pull back a little the chest because it's sorta...uh...like if she'd just taken a huge amount of air

I like the tendrils of the cape, but I think the background is just a little too white and makes the figure look very stark.

I agree with Katoras, maybe the background needs a lightly blue tone on the top which changes into a a light grey or blue. Maybe.. but I think itΒ΄s also ok with a white background- great work with the blue to black change

I like the painting alot, it looks really good. But I'd still changed the white background, it just seems like something is missing.

I really like the way the cape blends into black and how its hem is shaped :> And I think it's very well detailed considering it's a painting. I could never make such work with paints.

Well, I know neither Teen Titans nor acrylics, but I'll give it a try ;]
What caught my eyes first was how the capes fades into the background to create the wavy (firy?) shape, and how her feet fade into the dark, slightly reddish floor. I really like those colors and contrasts, also how her white legs stand out. Her breasts and the shadow on her belly look somehow unnatural. Some details that I really like are the folds in her cape and her highlighted red jewels.

Ahaha I hear you with the scan coming out bad thing.
The first thing that hits me are her breasts... They're so... round. I don't know that they should be highlighted right where you highlighted it because it makes them look far to... ball-ish and disconnected from her body; it should look more like a sloping-into, with the highlighted area further down.
Also, it seems like her body is at a 3/4 view, but her legs are straight-on. I guess I feel like they should be angled as well. And because of this, I feel like the left leg (with the bent knee) ought to start a little further up then the right leg, and that her hip on the left side goes out too far.
And, her left hand - it looks like only the tips of the fingers are curled in, instead of her whole hand being balled into a fist like her right hand.
The cape is nice. I really like the folds and the shading is well done - I'm digging the white outline of the face. The effect with the cape "flaming" out is nice as well. And I like her sly expression.

Well, I don't know that character and I don't know anything about drawing but I can say that I guess you succeed on trying to keep things simple

This is great-- the lineart is inspiring, although her waist is a bit off.

The pose looks good and you seem to use the bottom part of the cape to create and effect of fire that serves as the background. The coloring is good as seen by the lighting and contrast.

I'd say it's a good likeness (although she may be a little too happy ) Acrylics can be tricky to deal with awesome job

uhm... please understand i'm not trying to be mean @_@
the coloring seems unique, and i've never seen raven in that pose, however her upper body is quite big, and her hips small, that's more of a male proportion (if not for her breasts) than a female one

I think you should use the space better! The top and the bottom seem so naked! Therefore, you could fill them in with more colour or detail. Other than that, the blue is very intense and captures the viewer's attention! It's a nice piece if you are a beginner and shows potential!

I like the effect, that the color is fading from blue to black and the whole coloration is great!
