Description
Title: RavenDescription: My first Raven fanart piece! I tried to keep things simple concerning her pose and the background, so as to make sure to get the basic things such as proportion right. I know it doesn't really look much like her, but I think I need to practice before I can master the true art of TT fanart.
Information: Painted using acrylics, and the contrast adjusted slightly (the original scan didn't come out very well). Created over a period of a week or so- 3 to 4 hours all together.

nice work, i love the slightely evil smile and the way the dark cloak covers the entire lower part of the piece; it's brilliant how she fades into it. the simple background is also good, and i like the contrast of the dark figure on it.
the chest proportions are a little out, but it's a very minor critique of an overall excellent piece

I like how you did the shadowing. Also the fact that the "cloak" goes out to the sides makes the pic very interesting to look at. Nice colors as well!

I dig the smooth gradient transition from blue to black, it creates a nice darkness for it. ^^ great overall

Your color choices and the overall idea for the piece are really awesome. Raven is a wonderful character and you've portrayed her well. Her anatomy needs a little work, especially in the arms, but overall this a nice piece. Good job!

The shading and blending are wonderful! I love the transition of the royal blue into the black...it's practically flawless! I can't blend paint to save my life!

This makes me think of some study for a superheroe, is that the idea. I'm reminded of batgirl but without the high, red hair. I like the way her cloak turns into blue flames (or whatever the swirls are supposed to be), but I think you should add some colour to her skin, because even if she might be a night creature she looks a bit gray-pale as it is now.
