Oh, that's some image I should show my dog and the chances would be high, that she understood not to mess with dinosaurs
Lovely shading and I'm fond of the thin streaks, that indicates some reflection of light on the tyrannosaur.

Yeah, all three of these are "me" as a dino
Third one has his beloved character Ovi in it as well though but hehe, this submission was the first tyranno that wasn't me (Yeah yeah, I'm super creative with picking the T.rex, and lovely unique detailing on the patterns

BTW. I'm wondering what this slight violet thing on the nose of your tyrant is. Is it his tongue, which appears to be the most likely thing in my humble opinion?

I thought that an interesting touch would be that while my sona would be a shapeshifter, his coloration would be retained no matter what form he took - Red primary, creamy white secondary, black details, golden eyes (Only two exceptions), and a blue/violent tongue. I felt the blue tongue contrasted nicely with the red skin, so I added that in :>
(There's a backstory to why he's a shapeshifter, but I won't go into that here xP If curious I can type it up in Notes, but it's still in development hehe...)

*nodnods* Yah, originally was just going to be a creature to represent myself online. Sona sort of thing, nothing special. I went with a wyvern initially since one of my best friends had a wyvern for his sona as well.
Later on I made friends with Clazzeh , who was a super-nice person and I sort of envied his gryphon and the fun he had with it, so I designed myself as a gryphon too.
Now, I've seen many people "draw themselves as X/Y/Z" and it is just for fun, but I thought I'd just give my wyvern the ability to shapeshift instead 
Somewhere along the line, I felt like creating a character separate from my sona but based off him, and this is where things started getting confusing xP
So I got my sona and this character, both with similar names (Rae'Thalis/Raeth) and vaguely similar backstories (Cursed to the form of a dragon), but then the similarities pretty much stop. Summarized version yeah 
I liked this artist's sona, normally a lovely western-styled dragon, this was their interpretation of their sona as a rexie and raptor respectively. Quite the unique color scheme and patterns I say :>

Hmm, I can't say that one of the people around me were having sonas like wyvern or gryphons in the past, so my Allosaurus isn't just a bare, designed creature instead of that I feel some sort of a spiritual connection. Only the maroon / creme white allosaur was a role play version of my own one and was designed to match the field guide. Also, her backstory might differ in some aspects from my original allosaur self.
Interesting to see how the same color scheme looks on different species like rexy and the raptor you mentioned in your comment. Well, I haven't felt the urge to put the colors of my dino self on other species except Allosaurus, but some time ago I drew different Allosaurus representations like Papo Allosaurus, a feathered version and the normal appearance. Currently, the interest to continue this series has subsided, but maybe I might continue it some time later.
